The short version. Use this site in good faith. Peakline helps connect people and companies, but we can't guarantee a job or a hire. Candidates never pay Peakline any fee. Employer engagements are covered by a separate written agreement. Utah law applies.
Using this site
These terms apply to peaklinetalent.com and any forms or pages on it (the "Site"), operated by Peakline Talent Recruitment of Utah ("Peakline," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What Peakline does
Peakline is a recruiting service. We talk with job seekers, learn what employers need, and introduce candidates to employers when there's a good fit and the candidate agrees. Employers make all hiring decisions and are the employer of anyone they hire; Peakline does not employ placed candidates.
No guarantee of employment
Submitting a form, talking with us, or being introduced to an employer does not guarantee an interview, a job offer, employment, any particular pay, or continued employment. Likewise, we can't guarantee an employer will find or keep a particular hire. Information about roles comes from employers and may change.
No fees for candidates
Peakline never charges job seekers a fee: not to apply, not to be placed, and not afterward. If anyone claiming to represent Peakline asks you for money, don't pay it, and please let us know at khi@peaklinetalent.com.
Employers
Any fees or other terms for employers are set out in a separate written agreement between Peakline and that employer. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement controls. Employers agree to make hiring decisions lawfully and without discrimination, and not to ask Peakline to screen candidates on the basis of any legally protected characteristic.
What you send us
Please give us accurate, current information and only information you have the right to share. Don't submit anyone else's personal information without their permission, and don't send sensitive information like Social Security or bank numbers through the Site.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Site to break the law, submit false or misleading information, send spam or malicious code, try to access systems you aren't authorized to access, or interfere with the Site's operation.
Our content
The Site's text, design, logo, and graphics belong to Peakline or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use, but please don't copy or reuse our content or brand in a way that suggests you are Peakline or endorsed by us.
Third-party links and services
The Site may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, form processing, hosting, and fonts). We aren't responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Peakline disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the Site will be error-free or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Peakline and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost wages, or lost data, arising from your use of the Site or from any introduction, hiring decision, or employment relationship between a candidate and an employer. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnity
If you misuse the Site or violate these terms and that causes a claim against Peakline, you agree to cover reasonable losses and costs (including attorney fees) that result, to the extent allowed by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept them.
