The short version. We collect what we need to connect good people with good home service jobs. We share a candidate's details with a specific employer only after that candidate says yes. We don't sell anyone's personal information. You can opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP, and you can ask us to see or delete your information by emailing khi@peaklinetalent.com.
Who we are
Peakline Talent Recruitment ("Peakline," "we," "us") is a recruiting business based in Utah. We help home service companies across the United States find employees, and we help job seekers find roles. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through peaklinetalent.com, our forms, and our phone, text, and email conversations.
What we collect
From candidates (job seekers)
- Contact details: name, mobile phone number, email address.
- Work information: roles you're interested in, experience, work history, skills, certifications or licenses you tell us about, resume, pay and schedule preferences, commute area, and availability.
- Screening notes: notes from our conversations with you, and, only if you agree to it, feedback from references.
- Communications: messages you send us by text, email, or through our forms, and your text-message consent choices.
From employers
- Company name, contact name, work phone and email, the roles you're hiring for, and details about pay plans, schedules, and requirements you share with us.
- Information about hiring outcomes (for example, whether a candidate started and is still employed), which we need to run our retention-based service.
Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. The site loads fonts and a small animation library from third-party content networks (Google Fonts and jsDelivr), which receive your IP address when your browser requests those files. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, banking details, medical information, or information about protected characteristics through our site or forms.
How we use it
- To match candidates with job openings and contact candidates about opportunities they may want.
- To understand an employer's hiring needs and present qualified, interested candidates.
- To follow up after a placement, including checking in with both the candidate and the employer.
- To run our business: record-keeping, billing employers, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations.
When we share it
- With a specific employer, only with your consent. Before we share a candidate's name, resume, or contact information with a particular employer, we tell the candidate which company it is (or describe the opportunity) and get their okay.
- With service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, form processor (Netlify Forms), email and phone/text providers, file storage, and software tools that help us organize and screen applications. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Peakline, our users, or others.
- In a business transfer, if Peakline is merged, sold, or reorganized, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Software tools
We use software tools, including automated tools, to help organize and screen applications. No one is placed or rejected by an automated tool alone. If you'd like to know whether you're communicating with a person or an automated tool, just ask and we'll tell you.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the consent box on our candidate form or otherwise agree, Peakline may send you text messages and emails about job opportunities, interview scheduling, and follow-ups related to your job search.
- Message frequency varies depending on your search and the openings available.
- Msg & data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out. We'll send one confirmation and then stop texting you. You can opt back in anytime.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Every marketing-style email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. We may still contact you about something you specifically asked us about.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate information for up to two years after our last contact with you, so we can reach out about future roles, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. We keep employer and placement records for as long as needed for our business relationship and for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it non-identifying. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
Utah's Consumer Privacy Act gives Utah residents rights over their personal data when a business is covered by the law. Whether or not Peakline is required to follow it, we aim to honor the same basic rights for everyone:
- Access: ask what personal information we have about you and get a copy.
- Deletion: ask us to delete personal information you gave us.
- Correction: ask us to fix information that's wrong.
- Portability: ask for your information in a commonly used format.
- Opt out: of texts (reply STOP), of emails (unsubscribe link or ask us), and of any sale or targeted advertising (we don't do either).
Email khi@peaklinetalent.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity first. We'll respond within 45 days, and we won't treat you differently for exercising these rights. We may keep information we're legally required to retain.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as access-controlled accounts and reputable service providers, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for adults seeking work and for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business grows. We'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date, and if the changes are significant we'll make reasonable efforts to let you know.
